Last weekend Emma Williamson participated in a panel discussion at the Transform Symposium, held as part of the National AIA Conference in Melbourne. AIA President, Shelley Penn and architect Elizabeth Watson-Brown joined Emma to share insights into career turning points for women in architecture.
A capacity crowd enjoyed a day of engaging conversation, workshops and presentations led by some of the leading Australian thinkers in architectural history, theory and practice. Concepts such as the future of an ‘expanded practice’ were robustly dissected by members of the panel.
We congratulate Dr Karen Burns, Justine Clark and Dr Naomi Stead for the excellent day of discussion and ideas.
