It’s no secret that we love Fremantle and in previous columns we’ve shared our favourite places to eat, drink and enjoy the culture of our town. This time we’re excited to reveal our favourite places to shop for clothes in Freo!
With its edited collection of clothing, jewellery and vintage ephemera, Ginger Morris has been on our regular rotation for a couple of years. The shop is located in a beautiful building on South Terrace, not far from Wild Bakery and The Local, making it the perfect place to visit over a leisurely weekend.
Our new favourite is totally different in aesthetic and dangerously close to our studio. Asylum stocks men’s and women’s clothing and accessories by labels such as Zambesi, PAM, NOM*D, Henrik Vibskov and personal favourite, MM6 Maison Margiela. It’s basically like stepping into an architect’s dream wardrobe.
After so many years of having to rely on crossing the bridge for retail therapy, it’s great to be able to confidently shop in our home town.
