Sarah Besly

Associate | Architecture Studio Leader

Sarah is an architect with over twenty years of experience in working on iconic buildings worldwide. She joined the CODA team to lead our Architecture Studio and brings a wealth of experience in the design, documentation, construction and delivery of complex projects.

Her early background included restaurant outlets, residential buildings, mixed use developments and hotel interiors. She was also involved in the master planning for a prestigious art foundation in the UK. More recently, she was project architect for the new British Antarctic base at Halley VI as well as the Spanish base at Juan Carlos I. Through these two projects Sarah gained extensive experience in the challenges of designing buildings in extreme climatic conditions, knowledge which complements CODA’s wide range of building projects in remote locations throughout the north of Western Australia.
